working at heights
When planning work at height activities, employers must consider emergency or rescue procedures in case an accident does occur.

Employers must ensure there are suitable arrangements in place to handle any work at height accidents. These arrangements are known as a work at height rescue plan.

A rescue plan is a pre-planned strategy or procedure that outlines how to safely retrieve anyone who has fallen from height and is suspended in fall arrest equipment.

Rescuers must be properly trained, competent and aware of their responsibilities.
