Once a risk assessment has been completed for the work at height activities to be undertaken, a rescue plan must be recorded if fall arrest equipment is needed as a control.

The plan should include details of the rescue equipment needed, personnel trained in its use, anchor points for the equipment and the contact details of relevant emergency services.
